Oops, we did it again!

Our Year of Education initiative, which we started in 2013, has gained us a PaceSetter Award from STC. Here is what they said:

Nitza:

As a member of the Pace

setter Award Evaluation Committee, it is my honor and pleasure to inform you that the STC NY Metro Chapter has earned the Pacesetter Award for 2014. The citation on your certificate will read:

"For launching "Year of Education" to encourage and support the education and development of future technical communicators, through partnership with academic institutions, a dedicated Education section on the chapter website, the Research Assistance program, and the Talk to a Professional (TaP) service"

At the Summit in Phoenix, your community will be recognized during the Leadership Day event on Sunday, May 18, and you will receive the Pacesetter Award certificate during the Honors Banquet on Tuesday, May 20. [...]

Congratulations to all members of the NY Metro Chapter on a job well done.

Regards,

MaryKay Grueneberg, Member

Pacesetter Award Evaluation Committee
