On September 15, Anita Dhir has agreed to teach a rare one day Project Management Basics workshop and present in our Monthly Meeting.

One Day Core PMI workshop

This course introduces the core concepts of project management as outlined in the Project Management Institute (PMI)'s Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®)

Using a hands-on approach, it helps the participants identify key project indicators, plan and track the progress of their projects, create successful project communication channels and institute a project team culture that produces individual as well as team results.

Participants will experience teamwork and obtain practical insights into planning and implementing project plans. Further, participants will develop their project management style based on best practices.

Gain the knowledge to apply project management to real life situations!

Course Outline: Project Management Basics

Who Should Attend: Internal managers, senior technical communicators, information designers, senior trainers and consultants who manage projects or plan to manage projects in their organizations. The course is also recommended for those considering PMI certification.

NOTE: A Certificate of Completion will be given at the end of the workshop that participants can apply to PMI certification.
