UCKFIELD CHESS CLUB

RULES  July 19 (amended very slightly for 23-24)

1)    No smoking permitted within the club premises

2)    No alcohol permitted within the club premises

3)    No use of unacceptable language or behaviour will be tolerated

4)    Members are to show respect to all other members and to other users of the premises, including visiting teams

5)    All members must register on arrival and pay the weekly subscription fee

6)    Junior players must be collected by a parent or guardian, who should come in to the club for that purpose and sign out the junior on leaving

7)    In order to play for a club team, you have to be a member with the annual membership fee paid 

8)    To play more than three games in any season, a member should either also be a member of the English Chess Federation, or pay in advance the sum of £18 to the Treasurer to cover fees which would otherwise accrue to the club
