Junior Chess

 A number of students from Uckfield Community College and other schools in the area play at Uckfield Chess Club and there is a scholl chess club that runs lunchtimes.  

Uckfield Chess Club (us) has one of the chess coaches from Sussex Junior Chess (sussexjuniorchess.org) as a member, Brian Stockham who has coached particularly at schools in the area and can be contacted both for advice and individual coaching.  Contact Brian for information, email under contacts, he will know what is happening.

They and several other members of the club hold enhanced DBS certificates.
