Chrisolyn Jonathan

This variety was discovered as a limb sport by Jeff Campbell of Peters Orchards in Waverly, Missouri. It is attractively striped and maintains that pattern as it finishes to a cherry red color with darker striping. It is tart and crisp, with all the quality of the old-fashioned Jonathan. Chrisolyn Jonathan retains an excellent tart apple flavor even after baking.
