Sunday morning – potential navigation/orienteering training session
For those of you who are staying over to Sunday or who live locally, I am pleased to say that the Welsh Junior Orienteering squad coaches, Mark Saunders and Alice Bedwell have offered to put on a free orienteering taster session for us on Sunday, accompanied by some coaching and training exercises suitable for all abilities. Parents more than welcome to join in. Being able to navigate is an important skill for fell runners of all ages, so this will be really handy. This will be held on an area called Gwanas about 10 miles from Abergynolwyn - just to the east of the Cross Foxes inn - by the Jct of A487 and A470. For quite a few folk that will be on their way home. Starting at 9:30 for about 3 hours. In order for them to be able to gauge the level of interest, ages and experience and print enough maps please fill in this form, if you think you might be interested: https://forms.gle/EFMN4ad61nF3iAFH7 By Friday evening please.
