Royal Show Stall

Thanks for buying local!

The Guild has a stall at the Adelaide Royal Show,

(which is held in September each year).

Members goods are taken from the Little Glory Gallery to stock the stall, which is located in the Old Ram's Shed and is open from 9am - 7pm daily when the Show is operating. Goods for sale range from garments and accessories to fibres prepared for spinning and yarns as well as toys for children.

Members staff the Guild's Stall

Members staff the Guild's stall.
A roster is usually available in the Guild Hall in July. There are two shifts for volunteers at the Show, mornings and afternoons.
This is a great opportunity to meet customers and learn more about why some goods sell out quickly while some don't.

Demonstrations

Members demonstrate spinning and weaving at the Guild's stall.

Show Competitions

The Guild also sponsors the Open Arts Competition Classes in Spinning, Weaving and related classes (including textile jewellery and felt making).
All interested persons are invited to participate in the competition classes.
