Learn by participating in a Group Project!

The latest Guild project involved the Handspinners and Weavers Guild of SA, Crickhowell Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers (Wales) and the West of Scotland Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers (Glasgow). The full story of this exchange is in the April/May 2021 issue of the Guild News. and also as a downloadable document (below). Each Guild wove a 6 foot by 3 foot knee blanket using home-grown yarns that were dyed with native plants (some of which were shared). Each will be auctioned for charity. The HSWGSA's blanket, which featured yarns dyed with eucalyptus, was displayed at a Guild meeting.
