Fleece Sellers

Other Guild sources of fleece or fibres:

The Guild's Yarn Table carries carries all sorts of fibres prepared for spinning (including wool, silk, flax, cotton and fibre mixes) and dyes.  Buying from the Yarn Table is one benefit of Guild membership.

The Little Glory Gallery, open on Wednesdays and Saturdays 11-3, carries fleece, dyes and a range of fibres prepared for spinning, including those created by Guild members as well as wide range of colourful handspun yarns created by members that are ready to use. Everyone may purchase fleece from the Little Glory Gallery - not just Guild members.

Would you like to sell fleece regularly at the Guild?  Contact the Guild (email spinweavesa@gmail.com) with details the fleece & other spinning fibres you could supply.  Please note: Handspinners are interested in clean wool, alpaca, mohair and many other fibres. They usually like a long staple (at least 3 inches / 7cm approx. in length).

February 2023

Rockleigh Alpacas, who are a new to selling fleece at the Guild! Come and try Rockleigh Alpaca fleece for yourself. All natural colours, hypoallergenic, durable, versatile, soft, warm, and with minimal plant matter. Skirted saddle fleeces and cheap second fleece available. Come and meet Stephanie and Jarrod. Also available: bags of alpaca poo - great for your garden, minimal smell! Try it for yourself.

Kath Lomman (Lucinvale Coated Spinning Fleece), with lots of coated wool fleeces (mainly Corriedale, Romney, Finn) to choose from, including white, moorit, blacks, greys, dyed fleece, mohair, alpaca, handspun wool.

May

Suzie Horne with Finnish Landrace wool, carded dyed felting batts, carded wool with silk, dyed wool, dyed knitting yarns.

June

Deb Hopton (Eagleview Coloured Fleece), with lots to choose from, including Polwarth, Corriedale, English Leicester, moorits, alpaca and mohair.

July
