Staph
Staphylococcus aureus is a bacterium that is a member of the Firmicutes, and is frequently found in the human respiratory tract and on the skin. Although S. aureus is not always pathogenic, it is a common cause of skin infections (e.g. boils), respiratory disease (e.g.sinusitis), and food poisoning. Disease-associated strains often promote infections by producing potent protein toxins, and expressing cell-surface proteins that bind and inactivate antibodies. The emergence of antibiotic-resistant forms of pathogenic S. aureus (e.g. MRSA) is a worldwide problem in clinical medicine. posted at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Staphylococcus_aureus
Many people are using antibiotics without understanding the heavy consequences - your body resistance drops.
Here is an example. When you put a bug killer for your lawn & successfully get rid of whichever bugs, stronger bugs take over the space available now.
In terms of energetic vibration, your energy level and immune system resistance will go down.
Here are the 2 most powerful oils found to fight staph:
What would I do if I had staph?
I would follow my healing protocol: cleanse colon, liver, kidneys, lymph every single day until the staph is gone.
I would take Young Living capsules: Inner Defense, Longevity and OmegaGize, oils of Thieves, Melaleuca Altenrnifolia (tea tree), Exodus II, and Purification. I would definitely do Raindrop. Myrrh is great for the skin too. (there is a formula below, which includes all the oils great for healing the skin).
I would try different oils suggested on this page and see which one helps me the best.

Hi,
This is the rest of the info on MRSA
Sarah
I have read that RC is the most effective against MRSA. Each of you might
take it internally in capsules. Here are some other oils that have been
suggested
for MRSA. You might need to alternate several of them or do some in
combination.
I am certain it is different for everyone, and you may just have to experiment
to
see what works for you. The others are -- LEMONGRASS, CINNAMON, MOUNTAIN
SAVORY, MOTIVATION, THIEVES., LONGEVITY, EXODUS II, and PURIFICATION.

Purification, applied neat, as often as possible. If you do this right away it
should start improving immediately, and be gone in a few days. No abscess will
develop if you catch it right away.
I used to work in a military hospital and saw first hand how bad MRSA is...I was
horrified when several years later my youngest son had what I thought was an
infected chigger bite but by the next day was a huge abscess. The pediatrician
told me that nearly all the cases they see now are MRSA (the community acquired
type; picked up from contact, elevator buttons, shopping carts, door handles,
etc.). After he had it, it started going around our family despite the
Mupirocin, bleach baths (acckk!) antibiotics, disinfecting everything, etc. I
got it once after clipping a hangnail with a nail clipper...had to get my finger
drained and go in clydomycin which gave me a reaction. I swear my finger hurt
more than having a baby naturally!! All this before I became actively involved
in using Young Living products. So last fall I was out of town with my 4 kids
going to a RenFest and got MRSA on my finger. Going to the doctor wasn't really
possible and I started getting worried, but put the Purification on my finger.
It entirely stopped it in its tracks. Since then I have used in on other
occasions, and none of them ever had to be treated by a doctor, they simply just
went away!
$17 for a bottle as opposed to doctor/urgent care + lab fees for culture +
antibiotic + major hassle? NO brainer!
Good luck! If you do not see improvement please go do see a doctor as it can be
deadly if it becomes systemic, and it is a fast growing bacteria.

Diann,
Lemongrass was actually found to be the most effective single oil against MRSA.
RC was the most effective blend. The lemongrass was by far the most effective
of the two. Hope all goes well in getting rid of it!
Make the day great!

Dear ARa -
Because I want to know the answer too, I've looked in the archives. Here's best
I found yet, below my note. With some commentary best I understand your
daughter's situation and whatever colonized means - systemic, or an open wound
that's active? ALSO, I"m quite sure and don't find it yet, that I saw Vicki
OPfer post a reply to staph and Thieves, that though Thieves is awesome for many
things, it is not the best call at all for staph. However some people seem to
have good results using Thieves enhanced products like Inner Defense and
Longevity.
For a late pregnancy I can only say if it were me... and it would depend on
multiple factors including how hot the weather, how easily heated or prone to
rash I was as part of assessing which oils I choose. Thieves and ID, also
thyme, oregano are quite heating. Lemongrass still pretty strong, but not as
intense if suitably diluted. It does sting too on wet tissues and that's to be
considered when taken internally in my boat, when someone is sensitive anyway.
Even though the mucosa protects. Maybe I err here on side of carefulness with
pregnancy?
Colloidal silver is cooling. RC is cooling and has special penetrating
intensities. But I don't know RC's internal use safety, so part of application
will depend on how much topical and inhallation can be used to reach infection.
I'd use kinesiology to help assess, and probably use several all, and possibly
pad for other influences to balance.
If mama has fragile/gassy digestion anyway (and guaranteed for most mamas after
childbirth for some weeks, putting baby at risk for tummy upset), the hot oils
will probably be awesome for her as they will also help their digestive fires.
The cooling oils will probably feel much better for all at the end of summer
weather and with more hot blooded mama constitutions. The sharp heating or
penetratingly cooling influences will not feel good postpartum unless padded for
fuller, softening effect, as they will have strong drying influence too.
I'd be extra careful mama is getting good quality dietary fats and minimizing
citrus and prepared sweets or honey as well as keeping foods more alkalizing for
these last days before baby is born. Postpartum, though some of that knowledge
can be applied, it easily exacerbates. Mama then needs higher caloric intake
and more grounding, minimizing raw and maximizing warm oily moist frequent sweet
(not sugary) foods though all 6 tastes are still important, minimizing dry,
sharp, cold, hard, intense, bitter and astringent qualities. It can get much
more complicated if not addressed before I believe, but that's just my
postpartum educated opinion.
I hope all this comes thru on your blackberry. Please let us know what you find
and what works? This is such a growingly prevalent problem!

Dear JoyGroup and Amy,
What I have saved on Staph and MRSA..thanks to those who shared. Melody
Here is what I have on Staph Infections
------------------------------
There were 107 YL single oils and 64 blends tested for their
anti-methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)
properties by using the Kirby-Bauer assy. 90% of the oils gave
positive results, having anit-MRSA activity. Eleven single oils
have the high anti-MRSA activity. They were lemongrass,
lemon myrtle, mountain savory, cinnamon, Melissa, thyme, cumin,
tusga, oregano, citrus hystrix, and tea tree. Out of the
essential oil blends, Longevity, Motivation, and R.C. showed the
highest anti-MRSA activity.

Sue Chao reported the results of her research with MRSA 2
conventions ago and said that RC was the most effective against it.
I would diffuse and rub it on in a carrier oil. You could take
Thieves and Lemongrass by capsule, but RC doesn't have a nutritional
label on it, so I wouldn't suggest to other people that they take it
internally. I would myself, but thats me!
Make the day great!
Kathaleen :)

A Person who went to the YL Clinic was put on the
following treatments schedule
Cleansing Trio
Take 20 drops of Longevity for 4 weeks 3 times a day
in a gel cap then switching to Clove, Oregano, & Thyme
5 drops ea in a cap 3 times a day.
Another recovering from a surgery got a Staph
infection, here is what he did
Thieves, Thyme, Exodus II directly on the wound, this
he did on Wednesday, then 3 times a day then by Friday
when the doctor went to check out his infection, he
found no trace, and the wound was healing fine.
Another who read this before commented that if it were
her she would have taken the thieves in a gel cap
beside rubbing it on the wound.
This is what others did, remember what works for
others may not work for you, everyone is different.
But it may be worth a try.

Hello Ethel and others, My son had a confirmed MRSA infection that started out
as a bug bite size and with in 36 hours grew and closed his eye over. We Took
him to a walk-in emergency clinic that night. I started him on 2 Inner Defense
that afternoon and 2 more before bed and two the next morning before breakfast.
The following day we saw major reduction in the red swollen eye lid . He
continued on it for two more days . The dr visit was a thurs night. The culture
report from the doctor came Monday morning. It was MRSA. They told us to
continue with the antibiotic until we were done. I said okay, but it is
completely healed up. She was shocked!! Your son's case is a little different,
he was in the hospital. His body probably was able to allow this bug to get
every where in his body. I would have him continue with the Inner Defense. The
fact that more sores keep coming , could be a sign that his body is clearing any
buried viruses. I would diffuse the oils in the room with him too. If he is in
the hospital still put the oils on a tissue and wave it around the room. Be
persistent. Karen
Thanks to Nancy Sanderson for posting the following formula. This has been
successfully used on a leg that had non-treatable staph infection, the shin bone
was scrapped with heavy scars remaining. For 1-1/2 years the legs had an area
the size of a large fist that did not heal and seeped body fluids.
Within a day or two of applying the oils, the weeping stopped and healthy skin
started forming. The individual is now applying the formula on all the scarred
areas with the scarred areas beginning to fill with smooth skin.
10 drops Helichrysum Oil
6 drops Lavender Oil
8 drops Lemongrass Oil
4 drops Patchouly Oil
5 drops Myrrh Oil
. . . mixed with 1 oz. V-6.
Regards,
Don
Here is another proof that we need to get to the bottom of the emotional issue before we can start healing:
First, I would like to provide some of my history. I suffered with eczema on my
ankle for more than 15 years and followed conventional medicine, using my
dermatologist topical prescriptions, which often helped to heal my skin, but the
scaling, redness, itchy overgrown skin always returned. I wore only long pants
for the last two years because my ankle looked so bad that people were shocked
to see it and asked what it was. About a year ago, I learned from my
dermatologist that I had a staph infection on my ankle which was treated with
antibiotics and a steroidal ointment. Finally, the skin on my ankle healed, yet
left a dark scar and with time and YL oils, is becoming less and less
noticeable. This was a great relief. I could finally wear shorts again.
Since this time, other areas of my skin have become affected with eczema... such
as elbows, between my fingers... both of which seem to have gone away. I began
to think that one area (my ankle) was "patched" but my body is not healed... and
the source of my problem has not been addressed, thereby the toxins(?) in my
body will continue to come out through my skin.
My journey to better health began 13 years ago when I changed the diet of our
family... so please know that I eat mostly unprocessed foods, avoid all
artificial ingredients and I am very diligent about reading food labels. I
enjoy juicing, smoothies, etc.
In February of 2012, I experienced the first episode of dry, cracked, PEELING
skin on my lips. I can not emphasize enough the peeling and unnatural
appearance of the new growth of skin on my lips. This is unlike chapped lips.
It is uncomfortable with a redness and swelling of the lips and around the lips
with an appearance of an reddish outline on the edges. I feel as though my lips
are slightly burning and they feel inflamed. If I do not apply a topical cream,
my lips become very small, very dry, and very painful. With or without the
cream, I find it difficult smiling and eating because of the cracking of my lips
when I open my mouth.
I have had several other minor episodes of the same during last year. The worst
episode (last year) lasted 7 weeks. Not only were my lips swollen, red,
cracked, PEELING... I didn't leave my house often. Even the skin between my
lips and my nose was inflamed, swollen and red. It looked as though I had a
poor job of lip injections (which I am not interested in ever having!!!).
Please know that I carry heavy emotions which I believe are directly connected
to my skin problems. I have read Louise Hay's book How to Heal Your Life and
the book The Healing Code, both of which I find very helpful but I continue to
pursue a solution to why my body wants to regenerate skin abnormally on my lips.
My lips have been inflamed every day of this year... from the time of the
holiday season... so this is the longest time that I have been plagued with
unnatural feeling lips. I sometimes wear makeup to hide the puffiness around
and above my lips. This is taking a toll on me psychologically and I am very
self conscious when in public and speaking to others.
