Your questions, My answers

Is Thieves oil good for sinuses?

Yes, as an anti-germ & anti-bacterial.

There are other choices too.

However, it is important to remember that the first step in getting well (no-matter what symptoms you have) is to

1. Take care of the emotional issue causing the problem

2. Cleansing. Cleaning your colon is one of the first steps in the right direction

Having an enema is the quickest and least expensive solution. Drinking sea salt with water (Himalayan) and sucking on lemon will help to keep Candida and parasites at bay.

3. Making sure your spine/posture is correct

4. Breathing in (and eating) raw garlic, raw apple cider vinegar, essential oils of Peppermint & Eucalyptus and Breath Deep is good as well. A few great essential oils I like to use lately are Ocotea, Copaiba and Melaleuca Alternifolia (tea tree).

Putting drops of fresh raw aloe or fresh-squeezed wheat grass juice will heal the inflammation. The trick is to keep it in your sinuses for 15 minutes by lying with your head back and down. Rinsing the nose with salt water will help eliminate the irritant & sooth the inflammation. Generally speaking, germs and Candida don't like salt. You can even drink a cup of warm water with good quality salt (either pink salt or sea salt).

4. When the weather changes quickly, the body's PH gets acidic - a breading environment for the germs. Drinking a lot of good fresh juices, eating grapefruit, and a lot of probiotics will help you.

There are many ways to temporarily open up the sinuses. For example, the method listed in Asthma-free naturally by Patrick McKeown - Buteyko breathing method. Ayurveda has its method - Yoga Lion pose & putting sesame oil drops 3 times a day. Reflexology and other similar meridian disciplines will have you or practitioner press on the pressure points.

However, all these techniques help temporarily. Eating more fresh fiber (i.e. carrots or broccoli) , adding probiotics, and most importantly being happy, moving around and breathing fresh air will help you heal faster.
