Spring Semester Final Exams

Attention 11th Grade Teachers at the Main Academy:

It is an expectation of Mr. Davenport that all Final Exams are comprehensive of the material that has been taught over the course of the semester. As such, the final exams should be lengthy and in-depth enough to engage most students for at least one hour. To ensure that all exams are meeting this expectation consistently, anyone who teaches a first or second bell class at Main or Fitness needs to do the following:

  1. Create your final exam.
  2. Submit final exam & answer to Ms. Miller for approval no later than Tuesday, May 1 at 3:15pm.
      • If you are submitting a hardcopy, it needs to be submitted to Ms. Miller's mailbox on Tuesday, May 1.
      • If you are submitting a digital copy, it needs to be emailed to Ms. Miller on Tuesday, May 1. You will receive an email confirming receipt within 24 hours.
  3. You will receive an email from Ms. Miller on Thursday, May 3 indicating whether or not your exam has been approved.
  4. If your exam has been approved, skip to step 5.
      • If your exam has NOT been approved, you must resubmit the exam (with the appropriate adjustments & answer key) to Ms. Miller by Wednesday, May 9 at 11:30am.
      • You will receive a follow-up email from Ms. Miller by Thursday, May 10 indicating that your exam has been approved OR that you need to make additional changes.
  5. If you have a student with an IEP or 504 that needs testing accommodations or modifications for final exams, you MUST fill out the forms below no later than Thursday, May 17:
