APEX Program

Policies on APEX Program Grades:

• For students that are transferred into the APEX program, Progress Reports will NOT be done through Progress Book. Instead, the teacher overseeing the APEX program will complete the Progress Report form used at the Satellite locations (available here: https://sites.google.com/view/dohnschool/teacher-infoforms/progress-reports?authuser=0)
• For quarter grades, the student's grade will be calculated based on the program they spent the MOST time in throughout the quarter.
  • For instance, if a student only spends 1 week in the APEX program, the student's classroom teachers would exclude the student from any assignments given during the time the student was participating in the APEX program and submit the quarter grade as normal.
  • For instance, if a student spends 7 weeks in the APEX program, the classroom teachers should NOT submit a grade in Progress Book for the student. Instead, the APEX program teacher will calculate the student's quarterly grades as if the student were at a Satellite. The APEX program teacher should email the final grades for each student participating in the program to April.
