How to insert modified grading scale in Progress Book
This document details step-by-step instructions on how to set-up modified grading scales in ProgressBook. If you have a student on a modified grading scale it is mandatory that this process be followed.
The expectation is that teachers enter grades on the modified scale throughout the semester. Progress reports should reflect a student's modified grading scale.
*Teachers can no longer enter grades into Progress Book and wait until the end of the grading period to adjust student grades to reflect the modified grading scale.
Please note:
- If a student is on a modified grading scale, you will be notified of this in their Section 7.
- If you are uncertain as to whether or not a student receives a modified grading scale, please refer to their Section 7.
- Not all students with a disability receive a modified grading scale.
- A student MUST have an IEP and the modified grading scale accommodation on their Section 7 to be placed on a modified grading scale.
-If you have a student that has a modified grading scale in their Section 7, please use the following:
- 90-100 = A
- 80-89 = B
- 70-79 = C
- 60-69 = D
- 59 & below = F
