PARCC vs. EOC
Use this document for guidance on the performance levels for ELA and math standardized assessments for the 2014-15 school year.
1. PARCC ELA and PARCC math were the only standardized assessments for ELA and math administered in the state of Ohio during the 2014-15 school year.
2. When you are looking at data from TIDE, PARCC test scores are never included.
3. If you are looking for a PARCC score, it should be in the student’s EMIS record.
4. There are different pass/fail scores for PARCC vs. EOCs. The document to the right tells you what those scores are for PARCC.
5. Most importantly, the thing you need to be aware of is that there will be nothing that alerts you to the fact that it’s a PARCC test rather than an EOC test on a student transcript. You have to know that PARCC tests were the ELA & math tests during 2014-15.
6. If you don’t believe a student’s EMIS record is accurate and want to look up the PARCC scores for a student, please email Ms. Miller the student's name she will in touch with ODE (as there is no database schools can reference for PARCC).
