Liquid Wax: Important skin oil of Jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis), which is really a liquid wax extracted from the jojoba bean. Light and similar in texture to the skin's natural oil, sebum, it is good for body blends of essential oils. Jojoba is also a healthy base for hair blends with oils such as Rosemary and Ylang-ylang. It has a long shelf life and does not need to be refrigerated.

Aloe Vera: It is an incredible healing substance for burns, eczema, and wounds. Add some drops of essential oil directly to the gel that fills the leaves. This amazing gel helps moisturize skin, prevent bacterial and fungul infections, and reduce inflammation from conjuncivitis, gingivitis, and dermatitis. Adding essential oils such as lavender, palmarosa, tea tree, and sandalwood to the aloe vera gel for these skin conditions makes a powerful remedy. Whenever you need a carrier for essential oils that is not oily (for example, for acne), consider using aloe vera.

Vitamin E OIls: Some oils such as wheat germ and grapeseed oil contain vitamin E, which fights free radical damage.

Vitamin A Oils: It keeps other carrier oils from oxidizing.
