Jung In

Jung In is the pattern required of a Blue Tag grade in order to progress to Blue Belt.

This pattern is the 5th of the 8 Pal Jung Do Poomse.

Jung In's breathing form is the dragon. This breathing form starts by the moving right leg to the chung bi stance. During the breathing form create a knife hand with the thumb to the side of the hand.

Jung In

  1. Turn to left. Left back stance, C-block (high rising block right arm, outer mid-section block left arm).
  2. Adjusting front foot (left leg) to left forward stance, grab opponents head (left arm), reverse upset punch (right arm), forward punch (left arm).
  3. Right front kick into right forward stance, double punch (right arm, left arm).
  4. Bring right foot back to left, turn 90 degrees to right. Right forward stance, scissors block (low block left arm, outer mid-section block right arm).
  5. Left front kick, taking left foot back into right forward stance, double punch (left arm, right arm).
  6. Bring right foot back to left, turn 90 degrees to right. Right back stance, C-block (high rising block left arm, outer mid-section block right arm).
  7. Adjusting front foot (right leg) to right forward stance, grab opponents head (right arm), reverse upset punch (left arm), forward punch (right arm).
  8. Left front kick into left forward stance, double punch (left arm, right arm).
  9. Bring left foot back to right, turn 90 degrees to left. Left back stance, knife hand guarding block.
  10. Adjusting front foot (left leg) to left forward stance, reverse supported spear finger strike (right arm).
  11. Release (right hand to left ear).
  12. Right front kick, left side kick. Turn 90 degrees to right, right forward stance, scissors block (low block right arm, outer mid-section block left arm).
  13. Left front kick, taking left foot back into right forward stance, double punch (left arm, right arm).
  14. Bring right foot back to left, turn 90 degrees to left. Left back stance, knife hand guarding block.
  15. Right turning kick, turn 270 degrees to left. Left back stance, knife hand C-block (high rising block right arm, outer mid-section block left arm).
  16. Adjust front foot (left left) to left forward stance, knife hand high rising block (left arm), reverse inner knife hand strike (right arm) at the same time.
  17. Right front kick into right forward stance, back knuckle strike (right arm) to bridge of nose.
  18. Bring right foot back to left, turn 180 degrees to right. Right back stance, knife hand C-block (high rising block left arm, outer mid-section block right arm).
  19. Adjust front foot (right left) to right forward stance, knife hand high rising block (right arm), reverse inner knife hand strike (left arm) at the same time.
  20. Left front kick into left forward stance, back knuckle strike (left arm) to bridge of nose.
  21. Bring left foot back to right, turn 90 degrees to left. Left back stance, knife hand guarding block.
  22. Adjusting front foot (left leg) to left forward stance, reverse supported spear finger strike (right arm).
  23. Release (right hand to left ear).
  24. Right front kick, jumping into cross stance, back knuckle strike (right arm) to bridge of nose.
  25. Take left foot back towards front, into horse riding stance, assisted elbow strike (left arm).
  26. Turning 270 degrees to left, left back stance, C-block (high rising block right arm, outer mid-section block left arm).
  27. Adjusting front foot (left leg) to left forward stance, grab opponents head (left arm), reverse upset punch (right arm), forward punch (left arm).
  28. Right front kick into right forward stance, double punch (right arm, left arm).
  29. Bring right foot back to left, turn 180 degrees to left.
  30. Right back stance, C-block (high rising block left arm, outer mid-section block right arm).
  31. Adjusting front foot (right leg) to right forward stance, grab opponents head (right arm), reverse upset punch (left arm), forward punch (right arm).
  32. Left front kick into left forward stance, double punch (left arm, right arm).
  33. Bring left foot back to right, turn 90 degrees to left. Left back stance, knife hand guarding block. Adjust front foot (left leg) into left forward stance, reverse palm heal strike (right arm).

Stepping back to chung bi with end breathing form.
