I don't believe that it should be compulsory to wear a bike helmet and I am sick of the amount of over-the-top regulations and social engineering that appears to be going on in New Zealand under the Labour government.

I don't ride a cycle because I will not wear a helmet and as it is illegal to ride a bike without a helmet - then I won't ride one. As a form of excercise, I run and walk.

I wish you well in your endeavors and offer you some assurance that I am locally known as being supportive of Green initiative's and are very much into environmental issues.
