We left the Hotel at 8:30 am with a group of U.S. and Canadian wine buyers. Winett, the sponors of our trip, bused us off to the city of Agrigento on the south coast of Sicily to visit the Valley of the Temples, a lunch and wine tasting at the Stoai marketplace, and a visit to the Cristo di Campobello winery

After returning to Palermo from our day long field trip, we went to a "Street Vendor" style food and wine event put on by Winett Taste & Trade. Many of the regional producers and the invited buyers met over wonderful food and regional wines.
