HONG KONG & XIAMEN 2013
Hong Kong & Xiamen, China October 3 - 14, 2013
Darrell and I were invited to attend the Xiamen International Tea Industry Fair in Xiamen, China, which was held October 10-13, 2013. Wingchi Ip, a dear friend of Darrell's since 1992, hosted us in Hong Kong from October 4 - 9, 2013. Wingchi is the owner of Lock Cha Tea Shop and Lock Cha Tea House in Hong Kong , and is also a consultant to the Tea Fair in Xiamen, China. After our visit to Hong Kong, the three of us then flew to Xiamen together to see the Fair. I took the opportunity to document the 12 day adventure in this video/photo blog. There is much to see of our travel, dining, and interactions during the trip. I hope you enjoy following along, as the adventure was wonderful, but the real pleasure is sharing the experience.
