ProChile Flavors of Chile event

ProChile, the Trade Commission of Chile, held the "Flavors of Chile" event on board the Chilean Navy's tall ship B.E Esmeralda, Pier 27 San Francisco, CA July 21, 2011. Darrell, Esther and I were invited to attend, so we gathered our cameras and our appetites and away we went. Here is our blog.

The B.E. Esmeralda is the second longest and second tallest sailing ship ever built. She made port in San Francisco as part of a Chilean Navy 6 month training voyage, and to act as a wonderful venue for holding ProChile's "Flavors of Chile" event.

Here is a video of the event, which we made for ProChile

Of course Darrell had a voracious curiosity to see where the cooking on board is done...

The Menu

After a beautiful, clear day, San Francisco held up to her reputation. It got cold quickly and the fog rolled in.
