GREECE, CRETE, SANTORINI, ITALY 2014
Darrell and I were invited to attend a Greek food, wine, and culture tour of Athens, the southern Peloponnese, Crete, and Santorini by Wines of Greece.
We departed on Wednesday May 28, 2104 at 8:55 pm from San Francisco International Airport and arrived in Athens on the next evening. Our tour ran through the morning of June 6th. Darrell wanted to take the opportunity to make a stop in northern Italy, since we were so close. We departed Santorini in the afternoon of June 6th on a flight to Venice. We spent the next four days traversing northern Italy. We made stops in the Alto Adige, Tuscany, Genoa, and Milano.
