An anthem celebrating the presence of God in creation

In the dragonfly o'er clear rivers, in each brown trout shyly deep,

in the leaf-coat spun with fire-love, from your water's rippling hymns;

at the bed side of the suffering, in the spirits of the weak,

with the pain of all who stagger to life's loneliest mountain peaks;

You are beautiful healing Saviour, You are beautiful mighty God,

You are beautiful caring Mother, You alone are Father Love...

This anthem contrasts a contemporary verse with a hymn-like chorus of praise. A bass counter-melody appears in the final chorus and should be emphasized. Pedal should be used throughout to sustain the bass notes on the first beat of the bar. For those who wish, the terms "Mother" and "Father" in the chorus could be exchanged.
