This song is a reflection on Psalm 46. Like many Psalms, it contains elements of questioning, challenge and finally, faith. It is written in a Contemporary Christian/Christian Rock style.

Recording Notes:

-the bass drum in the chorus is meant to evoke the sound of a human heartbeat

-the high synth in the chorus is a tribute to U2's "With or Without You"

-I like the analog synth lead that gives a retro 80's feel to the song
