JJS is a really smart lake which reminded me a lot of well-established lakes in England. It is in the countryside, has all the facilities you would need and is very well maintained. It also has clean toilets, nets on the bank, charging points and decent food delivered to your swim too.

There are a good range of fish here so you may get a surprise which is always nice. Not the easiest lake but this is more than made up for by the quality of the surroundings and the friendly people at the lake. I was very happy to catch a redtail and what looks like a Chao Phraya mix catfish.

Fishing here is mainly with the float and feeder with bread and ram. Consistent casting to the same spot seemed to get the fish on the bait. Margin fishing here with some more meaty kind of baits can also give some interesting results.

Overall, a really nice lake and a great day out. I liked the little huts they had here and the general atmosphere of the lake. Well worth a visit!
