A lovely lake which is pretty big in comparison with most Thai lakes. It is a natural lake without too many other anglers. The best option by far is renting the boat at 100 baht per day. Not only do you get great views and the enjoyment of being on a boat, but the fishing is far better too.

A leisurely day on the boat going from one spot to the next is ideal. It could also be worth baiting up one spot then coming back to it later as it seems the fishing is best when a location is left undisturbed for a good while.

A great range of species to be had here. I had two firsts which were a java barb and a Chao Phraya catfish so was very pleases with that. I would stick to the chicken hearts at this lake but bread can also work on the surface for the java barb.

Overall, a great day out fishing with the unique feature of having your own private boat to get around. Well worth a visit!
