A very well known and well established set of lakes and resort/restaurant. Quite friendly owners and a nice relaxed days fishing with plenty of bites. Mostly sawai here, but I wasn't complaining. You do get the odd Mekong and Siamese of decent sizes, which on the relatively light tackle used here can make for a lot of fun.
A very convenient location just minutes from Cha-am and they have accommodation and a restaurant onsite too. Quite a lot of Thai anglers go here so expect it to be quite busy on the weekends. Try to go on a weekday if possible. Fishing on the bottom with bread flake on a light feeder and sliced bread on the hook works well.
Not the nicest of lakes cosmetically but certainly worth going to. Be aware that they do have a price discrimination policy here for non-Thais, but I somehow managed to circumvent that through speaking Thai. They do also have predator lakes but I'd stick to the regular lake and go to a dedicated predator fishery given the prices asked.
