Not the easiest fishery but worth putting the effort in to get results. Good for an evening session as most bites come from 16.00 onwards. There is a feeding time at around 17.00 when a whole boat full of bread is fed to the fish (see the picture on the right), so this can sometimes be a good opportunity to have a cast in that area to get a bite. This is a reasonably sized lake and has a lot of trees and nature, but sadly there is also a fair amount of litter.
Quite a lot of sawai and tilapia here but most people come for the Mekong catfish. Once you get one they give a good fight. Be aware that you're not supposed to bring the Mekong catfish out of the lake, so no nets are allowed. If you want to get a decent picture you'll have to get in the lake.
Food and drink is availble on the bank by calling the fishery phone number (0855664545), although you'll most probably have to speak Thai. Interesting when they deliver your food and drink by motorcycle.
Fishing on the float seems the most common method here, fishing fairly deep with bread crumb on a feeder and sliced bread on the hook.
