GSC Projects - Woombye Cemetery

Genealogy Sunshine Coast volunteers are working on a major project to update our collection of cemetery and burial records for the old Maroochy Shire cemeteries.

Woombye Cemetery has been photographed and records updated on our database and index. 

A series of publications based on the stories of people buried in this cemetery is in progress. 

The first book of the series was published on Friday 27 March 2015 and is titled " And their names shall live forever:

A second publication will focus on pioneer families buried in the cemetery -
