In this publication we have endeavoured to provide information about people buried and memorialised in the Woombye-Palmwoods Cemetery who were involved in major World Wars. 

Further publications will provide information on people in other cemeteries of the old Maroochy Shire to make up a series to commemorate the part our local heroes played in defending our country against those who have threatened our peace and freedom.
