Son Everett is buried in a Zion Cemetery southeast of Lindsborg near the home place. It is a small cemetery north of the road (Smokey Valley Road) in the corner of a field. Everett Warren Johnson, 83, of Lindsborg, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at his home. He was born October 10, 1937, the son of Arvid and Martha (Nichols) Johnson.

He married Anna L. Pauls on July 15, 1962. They met on a blind date and were married for fifty-eight years. To this union were born two children: Randi Jean and Jane Ann.

Everett owned and operated RJ Construction.

He attended Sunset Bible Chapel in Salina for many years. Everett was a member of the Roxbury Lion's Club and served on the Bonneville Township board for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Anna.

He is survived by his two daughters, Randi Gifford and Jane Yount (husband Greg), four grandchildren: Lisa (husband Damon) Sewell, Matthew, Joshua, and Andrea Yount, as well as two great grandchildren, Elijah and Lilyanna Sewell, plus one on the way; and two brothers, Marvin (Donna) Johnson and Bruce (Sharon) Johnson.

Cremation is planned with private family services to be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to Kansas Bible Camp or Water for Life in loving memory of Everett, in care of Olson's Mortuary, PO Box 355, Canton 67428.
