Improve tourism
The project “Improve tourism” ( "Unapredi turizam" ) was being realized during 2017. More than 5 workshops were realized: for catering and tourism entrepreneurs, NGOs, nature lovers, citizens, children and youngsters, educational workers and others who want to contribute improvement of tourism as an economy branch with their working and participating.
We used the results of the workshops for making recommendations leading to improvement of development of tourism and tourist offer at the territory of the municipality Pirot. Contribution of LOGOS to improve tourism is engaging more dozens of intellectuals from the field of education, economy, ecology, NGO sector, media for producing the tourist map “Tourist guide through Pirot”, 2017 edition, A4 format, full color, double page, in Serbian and English in 300 copies.
All volunteers are co-authors of the map.
The map will not be sold. It will be distributed free of charge to: participants in designing, students in schools, to citizens of Pirot in the city center. By the time of distribution of the printed copies, E-version will have been available at LOGOS site.
The map can be used as additional didactic material in teaching, with the teaching topic “Homeland”.
In the first page there is a map of city Pirot, and in the second one is the map of the municipality Pirot, with QR codes which after using the application of the QR code, and after mobile phone scanning “lead” the interested to chosen sites which can provide service, tourist, educational, cultural or catering information.
The author of the map is DraganNikolic, a graduated geographer, who used cartographic methods in designing all contents, and the program Incscape was used for graphic design.
