Applying the Beading

See what I mean about the pins. Loads of them. A new technique has been used to try to speed things up. The beading has sized, varnished and had the yellow and red lining applied in Roy's garage. Much easier on the back, much quicker but the draw back is that having painted and varnished the beading, we then drilled many holes through it all and then hit it with a hammer!! Not really ideal but the result was quite good. However an additional problem is getting the beading's corner angles paintwork to line up. Some did, some didn't. End result lots of touching up in situ and maybe not such a time saving after all. Different technique called for.
