“Do átomo ao arcanjo” significa que o princípio inteligente estagiou no reino mineral?

Resumo: Um tema ainda muito controverso no meio espírita diz respeito aos primeiros estágios de evolução ou desenvolvimento do princípio inteligente. Em particular, a ideia de que ele teve como ponto inicial o reino mineral, passando, respectivamente, pelo reino vegetal e animal, até finalmente transformar-se em Espírito humano, nunca foi plenamente justificada com base na Doutrina Espírita. Visando elucidar essa questão, realizamos um estudo aprofundado das obras da Codificação, de modo a descobrir o que exatamente o Espiritismo diz sobre isso. Uma afirmação dos Espíritos que responderam a questão 540 de O Livro dos Espíritos, gerou a ideia de que o princípio inteligente se inicia pelo átomo, portanto pelo reino mineral. Entretanto, a questão 540 está inserida em um tópico do capítulo IX da referida obra, que trata da ação dos Espíritos sobre os fenômenos da Natureza e não propriamente sobre a progressão do princípio inteligente. Este último assunto é analisado no cap. XI – Os três reinos, de O Livro dos Espíritos. Neste trabalho, mostra-se que, de acordo com o que é ensinado nas obras de Allan Kardec, o princípio inteligente não inicia seu desenvolvimento no reino mineral.

Abstract: A very controversial topic in the Spiritist environment is about the early stages of development of the intelligent principle. Particularly, the idea of whether the intelligent principle had the mineral kingdom as its starting point of development, and then, passing, respectively, through the vegetable and animal kingdom, before, finally transforming into human Spirit, has not been fully justified by the Spiritist Doctrine. Aiming to elucidate this issue, we have made a deep study on the works of Allan Kardec’s Codification, in order to find out what Spiritism really says about it. An affirmation of the Spirits that answered the question 540 of The Spirits’ Book, gave rise to the idea that the intelligent principle began at the atom, therefore with the mineral kingdom. However, this question is inserted in a topic about the action of the Spirits on the phenomena of Nature and not exactly on the progression of the intelligent principle. This last topic is analyzed in chapter XI – The three kingdoms, of the aforementioned book. Here it is shown that, as far as the Allan Kardec’s books say, the intelligent principle does not initiate its development within the mineral kingdom.
