HMS at Whitby

HMS enjoyed a fine Whitby weekend at the Captain Cook Memorial Museum.

Our brief this year (it being our cherished annual event) was to demonstrate plane table charting and surveying and also to demonstrate sounding within the inner harbour/marina area.

We welcomed new member David Little to our crew - he was straight into the launch, helping to manoeuvre it for the sounding operation.
