Bells at Barrow - with The John Harrison Foundation, 6th July

An HMS contingent will be supporting The John Harrison Foundation in their celebration for the tercentenary of the Act of Longitude which was enacted in the reign of Queen Anne, 1714.

As you may know, that genius inventor, John Harrison was eventually successful in achieving the Longitude 'prize' following an incredible journey of original invention and personal sacrifice.

The exhibition will be held in and around Holy Trinity Church between 1.30 and 5pm on the 6th July.
