Membership

The Hudson Legion Curling Club offers activities for all types of curlers, starting from the novice person who is intrigued by the sport of curling and would like to try it out, all the way to the experienced curlers who look for top level competition.

Note: regardless of category, all members can participate in bonspiels at our club or at external bonspiels.

Our curling club offers seven types of membership categories for the 2020-2021 season:

Note that there is a $60 Legion registration fee . Some people pay that registration fee separately so you see two prices one with and one without the Legion fee.

The only cost that is not included in the membership fee is an additional $10 or $15 for members who choose to take part in one of the special bonspiels that take place during the season: the Ham-and-Turkey, the Town of Hudson and the Closing Mixed.

Important information for all new members: once you have filled out the registration form and paid the required fees, in order to take part in any one of the curling competitions you need to put your name on the sign-up sheet for the specific competition that interests you.  For day curling (Hardy Rocks) the sign up is done on-line for night curling there are sign-up sheets. These sign-up sheets are posted on the bulletin boards at the Legion 1-2 weeks prior to the start of the competition. This gives you the flexibility to play as much or as little as you like. However, it is up to you to make it known to the competition committee, the persons who make up the teams, that you want to take part.
