Winnie Normandeau Trophy
Team Langdon and Team Cameron battled it out on Sheet 2 for the Normandeau Trophy. Team Langdon never let up on the pressure as they took advantage of every little mistake from team Cameron and finally triumphed in the 8th end. Congratulations!
Bill Driver Trophy (Ham & Turkey)
We were treated to an exciting finish to the season as Team Poulter and Team Connolly fought HARD to get their choice of those Hams and Turkeys. The first 4 ends it was all Team Poulter and it looked like it was going to be a blowout as they were up by 5 points after 4 ends. Team Connolly took 4 in the 5th to get within 1. Team Poulter took 1 in the 6th and Team Connolly took 3 in the 7th to be up 1 without the hammer in the 8th. The final shot just rolled off one of the Connolly rocks in the 4ft circle to leave Team Connolly as the winners. Thanks for a memorable playoff!
General Information
This year with the later than usual start date we have combined the Normandeau and Ham & Turkey draws. At the end of the draw the top two teams will play-off for the Ham & Turkey prize and the Bill Driver Trophy. Teams 3& 4 will play-off for the Winnie Normandeau Trophy.
The play-offs have been rescheduled to Sunday Dec 19 at 1:00pm
VERY IMPORTANT: All players must be fully vaccinated. All players must wear a mask when passing through the Legion lounge going to and exiting from the ice. Masks can only be removed in the lounge when you are seated and served.
