Cannabis

Cannabis, also known as marijuana or weed is smoked with tobacco. It gives the user euphoria, and tends to induce uncontrollable laughter, as well as hunger. Sometimes, sensations become more vivid, and perception is altered. Some users even feel paranoia. Effects depend on the amount and potency of the cannabis being inhaled.

Benzodiazepines

These are prescription-only meds and can easily be abused. They can also be found on the black market. Benzodiazepines are part of treatment for anxiety and sleep problems. The problem is rooted in the user increasing the dosage. This could lead to very unsavory side effects during withdrawal, ranging from insomnia, panic attacks, hallucinations, deep depression, and to even seizures. Sometimes withdrawal can last for months.

Crack

Sometimes known as crystal meth, crack is similar to cocaine. However, it’s cheaper and its effects can be more extreme. It is one of the most addictive substances on the planet, and was once called poor man’s cocaine. Users experience feelings of confidence, tirelessness, loss of appetite, among other effects. And when it wears down, hallucinations and extreme paranoia set in.
