5.04 Student records shall be maintained in compliance with accepted confidentiality practices.

Evidence of Compliance:

Student records are retained electronically on the Common Management System (CMS). Students are able to log on to this secure system via their MyCSULB account and access an up-to-date report of their academic requirements, as well as their unofficial transcript. Faculty advisors have limited access to the academic records through MyCSULB in order to provide advice on students’ academic progress.
