Monday 7th February 2000

I first of all remember dreaming about the X-Men, but I cannot recall much about it except the X-Men were protecting some gold. Then I dreamed that I was in the loft watching the demos of the video game Rolo to the Rescue on my TV (I do not remember switching on my TV or the Mega Drive or even plugging in the cartridge, but then the demos changed into Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and I was playing it. It was mostly identical to the Labyrinth stage from the Sonic the Hedgehog game, because it was under water (green) and you had to collect rings(!), and dodge spikes on chains. There were these blocks that would crush or spike you if you didn't get off them in time.

I remember completing the stage and a countdown appeared (3...2...1...) to warn me that the turtle (I do not know which one) was running out of oxygen; but I got an air bubble in time-he did not say anything like Sonic does when he gets air. Maybe it was the underground sewers where the turtles lives?

After completing the stage the screen had a black background and a white face appeared of which went close to the screen and back, and something about finishing stage (or act) 1.

The second stage was still under water and there was a red spike on a chain which hit the game character, killing him. But then it turned into Batman and my Dad was playing it (I'm not sure if it was still on my TV), and he jumped on a character and drove around in the car.

I've just remembered, there was a demo of the Turtles game and there was this lava (usually red) which you must not touch, so the turtle threw down two knives to walk on! But then the turtle made his way through some more red lava. Then I played the turtles game...

I was in the hall at Boys Brigade and I was trying to raise some money: £1.50. This man was selling some teddy bears, but when I went away I said to my sister Chelsey that I would sell her two for 50p, not for pounds which I meant to say first; she did but she only gave me a 20p coin. The man came back and opened some teddies, and said "Would you like to come to the pub?" and I told him how selfish he was.

Saturday 31st May 2003

All that I remember was going downstairs to fing my younger brothers and sister playing a Nintendo 64 game. I thought to myself, how I had not brought down my (very stylish, translucent red) N64 for them to play. But on closer inspection it was revealed to me that the N64 was black, like my brother Daniel's N64, so they must have brought his down.

About this dream: Today, I purchased an Equalizer cheat device for the N64, since it ws only £5 and it was supposed to be superior to the Xplorer 64. As for the dream, maybe Daniel's black N64 refers to his Xplorer 64; the Equalizer is a translucent purple colour just as my N64 is translucent red.

Monday 2nd June 2003

Sadly, I cannot remember much about the dream, but that was probably due to the thunder and lightning keeping us awake for most of the night. In the dream I inquired about buying an Amiga computer, at somewhere like Cash Concepts. I kept asking if he had an Amiga 500, because that would be compatible with most Amiga software. But he kept saying different numbers, like Amiga 547 or something like that. I saw a lot of Amiga computers on the shelf, but they looked all the same, all of them a white colour.

About this dream: My Amiga 500 is too damaged hardware-wise to work and yesterday would of been an ideal opportunity to buy a new Amiga. Cash Concepts have had Amiga computers for sale in the past but they are not cheap.

Sunday 10th August 2003

I was in the loft helping my brother Daniel sort through his N64 games, when I came across a Banjo game. It was called Banjo The... (I cannot remember the other letters in the title). I mentioned that it was four player, like Banjo-Tooie, the second and last Banjo N64 game; now Daniel seemed keen to play it. On the back of the game box were screenshots I did not recognise, it mentioned something about a Mario cap.

Another dream I had was set at school. I had this female teacher who was a much nicer French teacher at Eastbrook school. We played PE and then I hurried back to the classroom as the other pupils lined up. As I frantically swopped my (white) trainers for my black school shoes, my teacher was pleasant to me; I think I was heading for an assembly.

About this dream: It's unlikely there will be a Banjo game on the Gamecube now that Nintendo have sold Rare to Microsoft. The mention of four player in my dream convinced Daniel to want to play the game as he is-like me-very much into multiplayer games.

I remember someone wanted to buy something for 85p. In another dream, at this video game stall, at first I thought they only had Playstation games but when I looked closer they did Sega Saturn and N64 games too. The N64 game was Resident Evil 3 (they only did Resident Evil 2 for N64); I recognised the Nemesis on the front. There were quite a few Saturn games, including two Sonic games, one of which was a Mega collection; I can't recall the titles but I'm sure one of them ended in 'C'.

Other parts of the dream that I remember is that someone gave me a TV to donate to the reception at the church. I think it was Collin (church member) who said that they had no reception, but they would take the TV anyway. But when we looked inside the TV there was no electronics!

We was round someone's house and this man was selling off stuff. In a box with wires and bits was an Amiga 600 computer, I think. It was revealed that he was selling two Amigas (the other was an Amiga 1200), both for only £6.

Friday 29th August 2003

I was drawing someone as my sister Chelsey watched and I made up a story about him as I drew, basing him on Ryo from the Shenmue video game. I said something like "then he had to go back to his home in America"-although that sounds more like Tom from Shenmue.

At a shop I found a very large box with Shenmue characters around it. I removed the top to find party stuff like table cloths with the characters from Shenmue on them. I then put the top back on and picked up a book from beside it; it was an old manual for a printer I think, labelled something like C440.

I had a magazine I wanted to write in about games (but I don't remember it being a games magazine) and I had an idea which I thought was really good but I was having trouble remembering what it was. Also, my brother Matthew was in a room with me playing the song He ain't Heavy by The Osmonds and briefly I saw Donny singing in a kind of elf costume.

I remember looking at these cheats for various games and one of them was Dr. Mario. It mentioned different colours (or vitamins?) but I do remember seeing green.

At the arcades in another dream I was playing on a fruit machine and I had one nudge. I must of gambled it and managed to get ten more nudges but I didn't win anything because there was a time limit and it was too dark to see!

I think I was playing with my brother Daniel in a different dream, maybe the game was Sonic Adventure 2; we did racing as well as Starwars or Starfox space type shoot-'em-up. I think Daniel was playing as Sonic.

I was playing Tomb Raider and had run out of ammo so I had to use a shotgun but now I was surrounded both ways by people armed with guns of their own.

I was using some kind of Game genie, I think for the N64. I remember placing it with an ordinary cartridge but it wouldn't boot. So I tried with just the Game genie. It displayed some kind of menu with the message 'GLAD TO MEET YOU' or something similar. Then, to the right were loads of numbers which you could select and I came to the conclusion that it was for selecting multiple codes. I had thought that the Game genie had started for the first time, hence the startup message.

In another dream we suddenly turned a corner, we were in the market part of Lowestoft; we entered Game. My brother Daniel said he would swap all his unwanted Gamecube games for a new one. So, as he went to the counter I progressed further into the shop but it was no longer Game-there were no games at all!

I remember looking around a jumble sale and carboot sales. At one carboot sale, much to my delight, I came across a large stall devoted to just video games. But when I checked, there wasn't a single Dreamcast game; I looked twice, starting from the beginning of the stall to the end, but no luck. I definitely remember seeing Megadrive games as I searched on my own.

About this dream: The fact that I was searching solo for Dreamcast games clearly proves this dream was only about me, normally all of my family would look together. But I'm not only interested in Dreamcast games although I have to admit I would initially look for Dreamcast games.

I was looking through this colourful comic, well, more like an annual and I thought highly of it. It featured Mario and Sonic cartoon characters and others too. It gave me so much inspiration that I was determined to finally produce a comic of my own that would feature all-star characters, such as Mario meeting Sonic.

Then, I had this pencil drawing of Mario's face in front of me, I suppose I had drawn it. But what was strange was that he had three eyes! I located his nose near the bottom and it seemed to be a three and a quarter view of Mario's head. So I rubbed out the eye which I thought was at fault and behold, it suddenly looked like Sonic (still the three and a quarter view)!

About this dream: A while back I had the idea to do a When Mario met Sonic type comic and it ended up as just another of my many ideas that never get past the drawing board.

For some stupid reason I have trouble drawing Mario's face, unlike the Sonic characters; he shouldn't be any harder than Sonic to draw. In the dream the eyes of Mario of the pencil drawing were drawn how I like to draw them and not how they're usually drawn for Mario.

Some of the details are vague; at Eastbrook school this English teacher was holding a quiz for the class of which I was one of the pupils as well as my brother Daniel. One question really rang a bell and went something like "One Night Only: What was this for?" Someone immediately blurted out "Bee Gees" which I should have answered. But the correct response was "To play Bee Gee classics", as I explained later to Daniel, even though he had been at the quiz and he should have known the answer anyway. And for some reason I mentioned to Daniel that the English teacher had been Mr. Anderson (who I did have as an English teacher at Eastbrook school, in real life).

Keeping with school, I finally confronted my friend Chris in the playground. Someone pointed him out to me, reminding me it had been almost a year since we had last met. So I started having a go at him, telling him how hurt I was that he hadn't contacted me since his last birthday (last year). But what was strange was that, instead of the usual black uniform, he was wearing white!

In another dream I had what I believed to be a Sega Saturn game feature, as it seemed, only Amy Rose, looking a lot like she use to. She reminded me most from Sonic R for the Saturn; I remember controlling her on a beach-like course which was stunning to look at. I was surprised when I could actually move her through the lapping waves! There were no other players, so perhaps it wasn't a beat-'em-up as I had first suspected and where were the bad guys? I'm sure I remember seeing her roll across the DK course from Super Smash Bros. Melee (Gamecube), the one with the waterfall and the DK rap that normally plays.

There was something about a new (female) teacher at school in the dream, and having to do something for her. As I walked down a road where vehicles were parking to the right of me (the same type roads like at Gt. Yarmouth), proud with my new job, this car kept trying to run me over. Eventually I made it stop and had it out with the driver who to my surprise was none other than Les Battersby (from the soap drama Cornonation Street) and I kept insisting I would tell Steve of his bad driving. He seemed concerned but he drove off anyway. I remember distinctively that he was driving a red taxicab.

Lastly in the dream, I was playing some game where you had to catch a moving fish with a fishing rod-I did. Then it was time to control Fox (from the Starfox Adventures game) but when I was nasty to Tricky it was Daniel who complained.

About this dream: Yes, the One Night Only show was for Bee Gee classics, but the main reason was to make it easier for the the Brothers Gibb, what with Barry's back problems but the show had been held in '97!

Why would Chris be wearing white when the school would be very strict regarding uniform? Although he looked very smart, white can represent pure, i.e. he was innocent, which backed up his calm pose.

Yeah, I had this crazy idea I could program a beat-'em-up. And so far, Sega haven't to my knowledge released a Sonic beat-'em-up. The lack of other objects suggests a game in early development.

The greatest shock of running into Les Battersby is certainly something most wouldn't want to be faced with. Perhaps he represents someone else who is lazy and good-for-nothing. And another colour I remember well-and this time it was red.

As I don't yet have a job maybe I was acting out someone from something on TV, which would go with bumping into the fictional character Les. Speaking of Cornoation Street, it will probably be on today, and recently Les was accepted back into cab work. Steve was the one who rehired him in the programme and it would most likely be him to give him the sack if Les were to mess up again, like he normally does.

I was looking at a stall and my attention was drawn to these Nintendo 64 games held vertically on the stand. The first I picked up on the top row was a DK game which claimed to be the sequel to DK racing. So I turned it over but as hard as I tried the writing was so small I couldn't read it. However, I do remember the number twelve-twelve characters, I thought.

Then I picked up Fur Fighters for the N64 (it was never released for N64 in real life), there was a picture of the evil Viggo on the front, with a white background. But I only remember reading the number fifteen.

Then I was playing Fur fighters and I completed the game, even though I didn't go against the final boss, Viggo. A menu came up with yellow text and I quickly looked for a magazine (in the loft) to explain what some of them meant. In the end I selected resize, or something like that. The character was shrunk (not sure who) but the game crashed when I went somewhere. Back to normal, I talked to someone which made my character tall and slim!

In another dream, I was in the living room where my brother Daniel was sat on the sofa reading a Gamecube magazine. He was pointing out which new Gamecube games he was going to get and in which order; one of them was Mario Kart: Double Dash.

About this dream: DK racing by Rare was all set for the Gamecube, but since Rare were sold to Microsoft recently, DK racing is now only a slight possibility for the Gamecube. I just remembered that DK was definitely on the front with yellow text at the bottom stating that it was the sequel to DK racing, in the dream. But I saw Chunky too, yet in the early demo of DK racing they showed Kiddy who is Chunky's brother; but that's not to say he wasn't also to be in the game.

And as for Fur fighters which I have for the Dreamcast, it was not also for the N64.

I have had a dream similar to this before in which in the dream I started to write down the dream I just had, not realising until I had woken up for real, that it had been a dream within a dream. In the dream I was in the caravan sat on my bed as I wrote what I had just dreamed. I mentioned about being on a boat as a starting point for the dream within a dream.

I remember something about Sean Slater and Deano Wicks from the soap drama Eastenders and there was also a scene where Dot and Jim were arguing; Dot already aware of Jim's misbehaving before he had opened his mouth.

There was some kind of order I was trying to recall from the dream within a dream, I think it was the position people were on the boat, one of which was Sean Slater. It seemed as if I was trying to be lucid while dreaming within the dream as to remember as much detail as I could.

I must of not wrote much about the dream within a dream but I was distracted by some inscriptions on the underside of a laptop I had by me. So I tried to copy the drawings to paper, one of them which was at the top left hand corner of the laptop was of the outline of a rectangular chip, with some numbers as if it were a pinout. The letters 'SEI' sticks in my mind, which could have been the manufacturer of the chip.

But when I went to draw it again for some reason it magically appeared on the paper as if I had copy and pasted the image as you would do on a computer; I did think at the time how strange it was. Then I must have become lucid, knowing that I was dreaming because I made a point of checking if the image or the numbers changed when I looked at it again having had first looked away but to my surprise they didn't and in the dream that puzzled me.

In another dream I'm sure I was in Yarmouth near the sea front and I and I think someone else in my family were walking into a building where an arcade would normally be but there was a ride or something else like that instead.

I never got to where I was meant to go in the building, I kept getting lost, bumping into this man who I ended up following. I found myself in a large room with a huge swimming pool in the middle with lots of people in around it. As I made my way past the people a ball came my way and I sort of kicked it back, not bothered by it.

Somehow I found myself on a higher up level overlooking the swimming pool where I found in the corner, Max Branning from Eastenders (far left corner of the room relative from the entrance). I greeted him by asking him if he had 100MB more and although I can't remember exactly what he said in response it was something like 'yes'.

About this dream: For once my dreams have actually reflected real life because today will be the first full day on holiday and no doubt we'll go to Yarmouth soon. I've dreamed about Eastenders characters before but this must be a record for how many as there was Sean, Deano, Jim, Dot and Max who are all currently in the soap (except Jim who is unwell at the moment).

I'm now using Daniel's old laptop so that must have been what I saw in my dream since it looked like it and I had it with me (as I do in real life). The question I put to Max in the dream was interesting, in Eastenders he is known for having a laptop he uses for business purposes. By some sort of coincidence, 100MB is the amount of space that Google offers as webspace which recently I thought to myself more than once how generous that is.

I'm not totally sure of the order of what happened in this dream or if they were actually separate dreams. I had woken up and I had checked the clock: it was 11:15 AM. So I went back to sleep and in the dream I was in the living room by the BT hub we use to access the internet. My brother Daniel was sat in the usual place and mentioned 4AM or maybe 4PM would be the time that he would switch over to the other hub. My other brother Ben who was using my Mum's laptop said something about YouTube.

In the hallway there was a pile of stuff near the stairs and a bag of things elsewhere near the door leading to the living room. From the stuff by the stairs I looked through it as Dad stood nearby. I found a small notebook, most of the pages were blank, lined I'm sure. But towards the end I noticed a page of black writing which I recognised as my own handwriting. I read clearly 'Toad's Tool'; apparently a list of things to do or find out more about that perhaps I had written some while ago.

In another dream I was playing a video game controlling who I thought to be Mario. But it was in a Sonic-like world as I collected rings using Mario; I said out loud about nicking them.

Later in the dream I was in the hall again and decided to go outside so I opened the door and felt a strain slightly as if pulling me back but I imagined myself pulled outside and it worked.

Outside I saw a large lorry, blue in colour, on the main road and I imagined it coming towards me and it did. I had every intention to crash it into me, similar to a test I had done in another dream. I never thought to myself that it was a dream but I was well aware of what I was doing. But I don't remember if the vehicle did hit me or what happened if it did, but I must of woke up before I found out.

About this dream: Upon waking I checked the clock, it was 1:15 PM. It's been very cold lately but last night it was warmer, but still quite cold. In the new year Daniel plans to switch from BT to another provider, using a different hub.

I have not known about Toad's Tool that long and I've never used it, always made do with Gameshark codes instead. Although I read 'Toad's Tool' clearly, often a couple of words is not hard to read in a dream. Maybe the notebook and other stuff in the dream represented things that I've done or thought about in the past as last night in particular I was going over in my head about old times.

The term nicking has become a sort of catch phrase of mine I use in my videos of Super Mario 64 that I have uploaded to YouTube. As for Mario in a Sonic game, more so than that actually happening, more likely it was a reference to me replying to a message last night about liking Sonic as well as Mario.

In another dream I have had I purposely ran out into the main road to test the dream, in this dream I actually forced the lorry with my mind to come towards me so I must of been lucid even though I never thought to myself that I was dreaming.

I was exploring grassy lands that although they looked real I could tell they were actually computer generated, especially the water. At one point I rolled up the end of my trousers and walked about in some water just for the fun of it.

About this dream: Without a doubt the dream was inspired by the video game Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, which I had played yesterday along with the other games I had bought with my XBox 360. Oblivion was the last game I had played before going to bed and I remember thinking to myself that I would probably dream about it.

The Oblivion game has very huge worlds that amazed me while I did my usual testing as I played the game, such as moving through the water; except that in the game my character didn't roll up her trousers or pants as they are called in the game. That's the other thing; in the game I had designed my own female character to play as, in the dream I was me.

What I remember is that I was playing a video game although as usual it seemed very real. There were these monsters in an enclosed area that each had a missing arm, reminding me of the creatures from Resident Evil: Code Veronica.

Then there was this bad guy who had an uncanny resemblance to Darth Vader from Star Wars. He kept shooting rockets at me from his weapon which I had no trouble avoiding; I think I was in another room to start off with before moving into the area he was in. It stuck in my mind that the rockets he fired at me were of rectangular shape.

I had what seemed like a powerful weapon, perhaps some kind of machine gun, and I aimed at my opponent's head area but no matter how much I shot him he seemed unaffected.

About this dream: There have been many Star Wars games but the reason for this dream could be to do with Soul Calibur IV and me thinking how I'm not bothered Darth Vader isn't in the Xbox 360 version (without downloading him). As for the reference to Resident Evil and the way I avoided 'Darth Vader's' attacks by stepping out of the way may be to do with playing Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion which has zombies.

I was playing a video game set in a desert but in an enclosed area, graphically it looked really good. I was controlling a character who I recognised as the non-animated Kitty Wong I currently have in my game in real life. There was also this really big character who was also not animated that I interacted with, causing the health to drop from 50 to 0, as displayed in the text on the right hand of the screen, near the top.

Then, all of a sudden I was in a room I didn't recognise, with several other people watching a sliver colour TV, wide screen and quite large but on the floor. There was a news report on the TV, a man sat at a desk at the right, he looked in his 40s or 50s, with black hair and black suit. To his left was a silver TV on the desk just like the one I was watching but I can't remember what was on it. My sister Chelsey commented about the 'TV within a TV'.

About this dream: I've been working a lot on my 3D game and recently I put in my Kitty Wong character, but non-animated for now and 2D, just like in my dream. What I just remembered was that in the dream the character had the same graphical glitches as they do in my game for real, which I haven't fixed yet.

The thing about the health was exactly as I was testing in my game and the health did start on 50 and go down to zero.

As for the part about the 'TV within a TV' is a little odd, it reminds me of a 'dream within a dream'. One possible reason for dreaming about the TVs is that last week I watched on YouTube a clip of an old episode of Have I Got News For You in which one of the guests, on Paul Merton's team, appears on a TV since he couldn't be in the studio.

I was playing MyDream, the video game I'm programming on my laptop; in the dream there were several of my evil fairy characters close to each other in their default pose towards the left of the screen. Although I can't recall seeing any text I thought I was using the built-in editor which is supported by none of the objects moving. Strangely I could only see the evil fairies, everything else was black as if the lighting had been turned off.

I looked up with the camera and to my surprise the evil fairies moved up (still non-animated); they moved so much it wasn't due to the camera angle changing. I think I then exited the editor to play the game and the camera angle must of reset, unfortunately I can't remember what happened when I changed the camera angle to look up again to see if the same thing happened when I used the editor. Either way I wrote down on some plain paper about the bug I had found.

About this dream: I did another video preview of my game MyDream last night, as well as working hard on the game, so it's no wonder that I dreamed about it. I called the game MyDream because of letting people design their own levels yet this isn't the first time I've dreamed about MyDream.

Why only the evil fairies featured in my dream is odd and although the lighting can be turned off for testing, I wouldn't normally have it off when using the editor. I still haven't quite got the look-around camera feature working exactly right so that likely is partly responsible for this dream as it has been on my mind. In real life I write down on plain paper as well as drawings of anything to do with my game.

I was in my room and I was taking this Dreamcast games system out of something (a plastic bag?); at first I thought it to be black in colour but looking at it again it seemed more of a very translucent blue. I remember thinking that I should check the numbers on the back of the Dreamcast to tell my friend Jake.

About this dream: Recently I checked the model number on the back of my Dreamcast to tell Jake. I have a white Dreamcast but I think Sega did do a translucent blue Dreamcast. The Dreamcast may be a pun with regards to the 'Dream' part.

I've been thinking about the Dreamcast a lot lately, about how good it was, and how I enjoyed going to Game years ago to buy Dreamcast games. Also, I have been reading my old diaries and in them I mention my Dreamcast.

In the dream I had produced these small, framed pictures but I was trying to find a particular one because someone had told me that someone wanted to buy it (I think it was my brother Daniel who had told me and at one point I'm sure I was in the living room at home). Then I was in an unknown room with a man and we were both near a desk. I was to sign the picture from what I remember so the man was telling me to sign a 'J' but he made a point of saying that there were two ways to do a 'J' which were the ordinary way and the fancy way which he showed me on a piece of paper on the desk; it really was a complicated looking 'J'

In another dream I was holding two DVD-like cases saying something about them being Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6. Again I dreamed about what I thought was Resident Evil but it seemed like real life. I don't recall what (if any) of the monsters looked like but there was something about getting a gun.

About this dream: Recently while programming my video game MyDream, I had been using a character map so that I can do textured text that would look better in the game than the plain text I had been using. Perhaps it was me thinking about how the text needed to be more fancy that caused the dream; the reason for the 'J' must be because it's the first letter of my name.

I do have Resident Evil 5 for the Xbox 360 but Resident Evil 6, if it does come about, probably won't be released for ages. However, I did mention to a friend how Resident Evil 6 possibly be set in London (which is near where I live).

I was at some kind of caravan site talking to a man about jobs and he suggested that I should take photos professionally. I really liked that idea and he went on to say that people always want photos of grandmothers in front of caravans and he pointed to the back of a caravan to let me imagine a grandmother in front of it.

At one point the man had drinks in his hands (in plastic containers I think, with orange drinks in them) and he gave one to me which I drunk. He also handed me a small, white, plastic container with no top on that had a yellow or orange jelly in which I ate. I said to the man that I should practice taking photos which he thought was a great idea and he sad that I should start now even though it was getting late. So I replied that I would get my camera but ended up on the street. Judging by the darkness of the sky it was now evening time; seeing the shops I remembered how I had taken a picture of Woolworths.

I came to a small shop, a newsagent, which I entered and saw some Dreamcast games on a shelf immediately to my right, up against the wall; I'm sure one of the Dreamcast games was Resident Evil 2 going by the front cover of the face. When I noticed the man at the counter who was situated next to the shelves he looked back at me with a far from pleasing stare. When I looked back at the shelf the Dreamcast games were gone but I saw instead a magazine. On the front was Catwoman in her leather costume from Batman returns movie (as played by Michelle Pfeiffer). Also, on the front of the magazine was Batman in a black outfit by Catwoman (to the right). Under both of them was the title of something like 'MK Vs DC Universe' and a dat under that but I can't remember if it said 2009 or 2010. I assumed it was talking of a sequel to the video game MK Vs DC Universe.

I was then inside a building walking down a corridor where I saw Janine Butcher from Eastenders trying to reach up to put something on a shelf. It was the type of shelf like they have in Game where they have video games above each other with long rows, but the shelves in the dream looked empty (they were white). I commented to Janine that I was too short to reach and put up my hand to make my point.

As I continued walking down the corridor I saw Archie Mitchell from Eastenders who looked very tall even while sitting down (he is very tall for real) on a plain chair like you would have at a school (i.e., plastic seat with metal legs). I said to him that 'I think someone needs some help' meaning Janine and he replied something like 'I know'.

About this dream: I don't think I would ever be any good at photography; the reason for dreaming about photography is most likely because before going to bed last night I was talking to my Dad about way to stop printed photos from fading (since we needed a better way of printing on photo paper without it getting smudged through not drying quick enough).

I think the bit at the caravan with the man giving me the drink and food was just him being friendly although it could have been to keep me interested in what he had to say. The connection is that in the dream I recalled how I had take a photo of Woolworths which I had in real life while on holiday with my family where we stayed at a caravan as we always do.

The reason for the Dreamcast games was probably to keep me in the shop long enough to discover the magazine. As for a sequel to MK Vs DC Uiverse, that is very likely as the first one sold very well but I have yet to buy it, although I would like to. However, according to Wikipedia, while there is another Mortal Kombat in the works, a sequel to MK Vs DC Universe is not likely. Interestingly, in the dream, both of the characters on the magazine were DC characters; no Mortal Kombat characters.

I watched Eastenders yesterday evening and also read about the soap opera in a TV magazine so that probably helped with me dreaming about Eastenders characters. However, neither Archie nor Janine were in yesterday's episode of Eastenders. I don't know for sure if I am smaller than the actress who plays Janine but I did check online and it seems I am. In Eastenders Archie has teamed up with Janine more than once with her helping him out. There is something subtly significant about Archie sitting down in the corridor area in the dream-he was 'in the way'; in Eastenders he certainly gets in the way, causing trouble for others.

The reason for the shelves in my dream perhaps represents me trying to progress in life, i.e., to get a job; to move on in life. Having said that, if something is on a shelf that can mean not making use of something, or not enough so perhaps that refers to my skills.

I had many short dreams but the ones I remember well I'll mention. In one of the dreams I was in a large house and I saw Marilyn and Sid from the soap opera Home and Away. They had noticed that a huge staircase had appeared in what was probably the living room. There were stairs leading up and another leading down, separated by banisters in the middle. Just one lot of stairs on one side was probably double the width of the stairs you would normally find in a home. The stairs didn't lead up much and there weren't that many steps; they wouldn't have looked out of place in a mansion.

Then there was this giant LED dot matrix display which I can't remember exactly where it was in the room but I think it was at the top of the stairs that had disappeared. On the display was an exclamation mark (!) but I remember thinking in the dream how it was odd the exclamation mark wasn't in the middle of the display; it was at the left side.

In another dream I was outside somewhere and as I was walking along a pathway I saw the pavement just ahead was sloped upward to a high level, but a quite curved slope. Then I noticed my friend Julie standing to the right of the slope part and we started talking; I was surprised to see her. She said I should come at 6 (presumably to her house) and I figure she had said that time so I could eat at home and then come to her.

About this dream: the first dream, with Marilyn and Sid, is strange. I only watch Home and Away nowadays when I'm round Julie's as she has it on. As Julie features in my second dream, the two dreams are connected. I have been thinking about Julie a lot, as we have been getting on well together as friends and I saw her on Thursday.

The character Marilyn is a very bubbly, happy one but perhaps she doesn't think things over some times. Sid, however, is quite different as he is a doctor and is more serious and realistic. Marilyn actually brings up the point in one of the episodes how she and Sid are very different. I wonder if Sid represents me because I have a similar approach to life and perhaps Marilyn is a different, rarely seen side of me, or how I would like to be.

Stairs appearing could be a new path to take and as they led up to the display showing an exclamation mark that could warn danger. The fact that it was an electronic display is interesting as I know a lot about them.

In the other dream the large slope is a dream symbol like the stairs in the first dream. However, I think I dreamed about the slope because yesterday evening I was trying to model a level for my game, based on Romford (the town near where I live), where you come out of the subway-there is a slope upward but that's straight not curved like in my dream. As for the subway in real life for the past few times I've walked that way there have been work men cleaning off the graffiti on the walls.

Julie does want to meet up again but no times have been mentioned yet. One of the things she said to me on the day we split up when we were trying to work things out was that she didn't want to keep making meals for me-I should eat at home first and then come to her. The two times we have met up as friends since then Julie made herself a meal the first time and the second time, we went out for a meal.

To me the slope in the dream represents a path in life to take perhaps a difficult one as it was sloped upward. As Julie was standing to the side of it and not actually on it I wonder if it's saying Julie needs to decide what path to take not just me. If I was heading up the slope perhaps it's a question of whether Julie will join me.
