Volunteers & friends

Volunteers

Here are just some of the ways in which volunteers support the Festival:

  • Promotion – distributing flyers and posters around Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula; setting-up roadside signs just prior to the Festival (and taking down afterwards);

  • Preparing the Expo venues – setting-out display boards; putting up signage and taking down afterwards; Covid-Safe monitoring and support; selling Raffle tickets.

  • The Expo – registering exhibitors and assisting with unloading; assisting at the Information table.

If you'd like to be a volunteer, please contact us at festivalofglassdrysdale@gmail.com.com and put 'Volunteering' in the subject header.

Friends

You may not see yourself as a Festival volunteer (yet!), but you'd like to know how the preparations for each year's Festival are going.

If so, please:

  • sign up for our Festival Friends Newsletter – an occasional online publication keeping you up-to-date with developments in and around the Festival of Glass.

If you'd like to receiver the newsletter, please send an e-mail to festivalofglassdrysdale@gmail.com.com and put 'Friends' Newsletter' in the subject header and we'll add your e-mail address to our mailing list.
