Ernst Mach Grant

Students interested in studying at our university during the winter semester 2024/25 and/or spring semester 2025 could apply for a very interesting grant:

Ernst Mach Grant for students from non-European countries for studying at an Austrian University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule)

You can find a summary of the grant here, and more specific information is available via this link.

In order to apply, students will have to register themselves on the Austrian Sholarship Database (choose the English version) and apply online for the relevant grant (= “Ernst Mach Grant for students from non-European countries for studying at an Austrian University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule)”).

Part of the grant application process is including an admission confirmation from our university. This means that it is necessary for students interested in the grant to apply early for their exchange period at MCI.

Please note that the deadline for the grant application is february 1st 2024.

Important information: there are always many applicants for this grant. Due to this, it is necessary that the application is of excellent quality. We have been informed that some students where denied the grant last year as their application did not meet the formal criteria (If a letterhead is required, there needs to be a letterhead. If the transcript is not allowed to be older than x months, everything older will be a reason to deny the application). It is also necessary that the students prove their motivation regarding academic aspects (e.g., a description of what they will study at our university and how those courses will positively contribute to the further studies, etc.).
