Winter term 2024/25: October 1, 2024 – March 31, 2025
Courses: October 14, 2024 – February 7, 2025
Examinations: February 03, 2025 – February 28, 2025
Acceptance letter
After receiving all students´ application documents TUM Global Office will forward them to the TUM School of Management for the final decision of acceptance.
After the acceptance of the students, the students will receive their official TUM admission letter via e-mail from TUM Global Office. In the admission letter, they can find further information about the next steps and enrollment at TUM (details about the necessary health insurance and semester fee, etc.)
For enrollment, every student attending TUM, including exchange students, has to pay the Semester Fee depending on campus. 85.00 Euro in Munich, 102.00 Euro in Heilbronn and 72.00 Euro in Straubing (current status).
Additionally, every student needs to have proof of a German national insurance to enroll at TUM.
Language Requirements
Depending on the language of instruction of the courses applicants intend to follow at TUM School of Management, they are required to give proof of a B2 level in English. If students want to take courses in German, they are required to give proof of a B2 level in German as well. We recommend all students to gain some basic German language knowledge prior to their studies at TUM for daily life in Munich.

Students can be nominated on all our three Campuses:
Main Campus Munich - marked in “yellow” (refer to fact sheet and course catalogue)
Campus Heilbronn - main focus on Digital Transformation and Family Business marked in “red”
Campus Straubing - with a focus on Renewable Resources and Sustainability marked in “green”
Commuting between the different campuses during the study abroad semester is impossible.
