Long duration tests analysis software

 

Emilie software provides complete processing for long duration measurements based on waves in bars. Any loading device is allowed (striker, actuator, falling mass…). The bars are made of possibly different materials and diameters, including low impedance viscoelastic bars. Emilie deals with any number (two at least) of sensors on each bar – displacement, speed, force and strain measurement. The process takes signal dispersion into account. It can be run in the time domain (with any couple of sensors) and/or in the frequency domain (any number > 1 of sensors). Single wave transport is also available and will be used for calibration procedures.

Displacement, speed, force and strain are subsequently computed at any point on the bar, in particular at the specimen face.

Emilie capabilities recently enabled the use of a force sensor made of a bar short enough to be integrated in a fast servo-hydraulic machine. A high passing band sensor (100 kHz) is then available within a minimum length of 30 cm. Furthermore, an impedance correction permits for the use of different heads

Extract all the files and run setup.exe. The required LabVIEW runtime will be automatically installed if necessary.

To request a licence, run the program Emilie_Key, and follow the instructions.

Please note that it is recommended to remove any previous version of Emilie before installing this new one.

As “demonstration files” are written with the English separator (decimal point) it is necessary to set the “country parameters” on your computer to the English version or equivalent.
