Pin Down Cancer

Update: On September 10, 2015 our beautiful, strong, brave Anjenette Cole lost her battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her family and her boyfriend. She inspired so many and was loved by all of us in our Utica/Shelby community. Her light will stay with all of us eternally.

The Utica Wrestling Team recently opened their internal Black and Orange meet to the public to raise funds for the Cole Family. One of our four year wrestler's Tony Deccoco-Cole, just found out that his sister, Annjenette, has been diagnosed with Liver Cancer. When the Wrestling Coach, Mr. Clinton Davis, found out about this he wanted to be able to help in some way. They decided to pass out flyers where people could "sponsor" a wrestler for the meet. It was a great night and through the collection at the door, t-shirt sales, bracelet sales, baked goods, and sponsor forms, a productive night was had by all. We were all happy to be a part of this wonderful endeavor.
