About the Development of These Materials. They have been developed over a period of more than 20 years. During this time the development has been based on my experiences giving private lessons and learning from my piano students. During these 20 years the number of students has averaged about 15-18 for the weekly lessons. This experience has led to a constant and steady change in these lesson materials as I learned what worked well, and not so well. The resulting constant development and improvement of the piano notations and learning materials can be attributed in large part to what I have been learning from these teaching experiences.
