Cliff Notes

1. Choose the graph

-bar graph, line graph, pie graph, scatterplot, histrogram

2. Independent and Dependent Variables

-IV: the variable being changed/controlled

-DV: the observed result, depends on IV

3. Scaling the graph

-find the range (biggest-smallest), divide by # of intervals

4. Plotting the points

5. Draw a best fit line

-applies to scatterplot

6. Titling the graph

-include IV and DV
