Drop-in Events

All drop-in events run throughout the day.

Each person can participate once in each of the drop-in events.

Each team of participants must consist of 2-3 members from the same school.

Only one top team from each school will count towards points and the school's ranking.

E-Clips of Fermi (Math)

Womp womp, the new digital age of short electronic clips (e-clips) from tik tok and instagram reels seemingly have eclipsed anything math-related. As the new and upcoming generation of gen y=mx+b mathematicians you must show off your math knowledge in tik tok and instagram challenges to beat those who don’t have a “ferm” grasp of math.

Minion Mayhem (General)

While exploring space, you find yourself stuck drifting when you run out of fuel. A foreign ship saves you with Minions! They used their last bit of fuel rescuing your team and now you must get more to return home. Solve Dr. Nefario’s puzzles to access the emergency fuel.

Bridging the Crater Gap (Engineering)

Oh no! You were on a mission on the moon but a drone has crashed and compromised the mission’s success. You can fix the drone, but it is on the other side of a huge crater that you cannot get around. You have no other choice left other than to build a bridge to go over the crater and retrieve the drone. With the fate of your mission resting on the shoulders of you and your friends, you must build a high enough bridge using your limited resources and save the day.
