General Questions
Q. What is the eligibility to participate?
A. You must be a teacher in the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) and have students in grade 7 and/or 8.
Q. Is there a registration fee?

Q. When does the olympics begin and end?

Q. How many students should I register for MSEO? Is it beneficial to have 24 students?
A. You must have between 20-24 students on your team with a mix of grade 7 and 8 students. Having more students makes it easier to distribute your students among all the events but it also means that each student is participating in fewer events.
Q. Why can't I have more than 24 students on my team?
A. Our physical space cannot hold more than 24 students per team.
Event Questions
Q. Do we need to prepare for the events? How do we prepare for the events?
A. For one of the engineering events and the dynamic display event, prior preparation will be needed. Emails with further instructions and event resources will be sent out to registered teachers prior to the olympics. All other events are completed on site and thus require no prior preparation.
Q. Where can I find more information about the events?
A. Event Descriptions will be posted on the website in February.
Q. What if my students have questions about the events?
A. Participants and teachers may send any questions to msc.reps@gmail.com.
